Pipe bursting is a trenchless method of replacing buried pipelines for natural gas, water or sewer and is also utilized in “upsizing” or to expand a pipeline’s carrying capacity. This method of installing tracer wire requires the highest strength or break load. Several options are recommended: Extreme High Strength Copper Clad Steel (CCS) and Extreme High Strength Stainless Steel (SS).
