TFFN (stranded) or TFN (solid) conductors are primarily used as fixture
wire as defined by the
National Electrical Code (NEC) at temperatures
not to exceed 90ºC in dry locations. For applications
requiring Type MTW, the conductor is permitted
for use in dry locations at 90ºC or not to exceed
60ºC in wet locations or where exposed to oils or
coolants. For applications requiring Type AWM,
conductor is appropriate for use at temperatures
not exceeding 105ºC in dry locations. All
conductors are permitted for new construction or
rewiring for 600-volt applications.
Slick, Nylon outer jacket for easy pulling.
All sizes are rated gasoline and oil-resistant II.
